American Flag with Bright White Stripes and Dark Frame (Large)
Made from pine stock on a plwyood backer board, this clean and bright version of the classic flag is 21"x37", wrapped in a painted black frame. As opposed to some of our rustic and distressed flags, this piece has been light light and bright, with no torch or distress marks to dim the colors. Each strip has been "round-over" with a router for a slightly finished edge, adding some dimension and character to the flag. The pine frame is painted matte black, adding a polished look to the finished piece.
We used a water based polyurethane to give outdoor protection and a nice sheen to this classic p ience. Due to the thick frame, this piece projects off the wall about 2 inches, so it literally stands out as a statement piece for any large wall space, mantle or bookshelf.
The flag has hanging wire on back for easy mounting.

Should you decide to return any undamaged, unused product, the shipping cost will be deducted from the refund.

Wood items such as artwork, flags, garden stumps are finished with multiple coats of polyurethane for protection. We use water-based polyurethane or oil-based polyurethane, so if you decide to recoat a product, be sure to check the product description to see which kind was used originally so you can be consistent. We are not responsible for any damage that may result from you treating a product. If you have questions, feel free to reach out to us.
If your item is going to be displayed outdoors, we will use outdoor polyurethane for additional protection. Items left outside year-round in the elements will show wear and tear faster, so we recommend that items are brought in during harsh weather seasons.
